Editorial Policy
To uphold academic integrity, research transparency, and publication quality, IEEE RECNT 2026 applies academic integrity screening, peer review, and compliance management regarding the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) to all submitted manuscripts. The specific policies are as follows:
All submitted manuscripts will undergo similarity checking and AI usage screening using the Turnitin system, in order to identify potential plagiarism and inappropriate use of AI-generated content.
Important: Manuscripts that fail to meet academic integrity or GenAI compliance requirements will be rejected without entering the peer review process.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be reviewed by at least two to three independent experts in the relevant field. The peer review process will evaluate the manuscript's originality, scientific validity, research quality, academic significance, and readability.
Authors are required to respond to reviewers' comments point by point and revise the manuscript accordingly. Manuscripts that fail to adequately address the review comments may be rejected or require further revision.
To ensure the authenticity of research and adherence to academic ethics, IEEE RECNT 2026 establishes the following regulations regarding the use of GenAI:
Authors must not use GenAI tools to generate, fabricate, or supplement missing data, nor to manipulate original data, images, figures, charts, or research results in any manner that alters their integrity or presentation.
Warning: Any manipulation or fabrication involving AI-generated data constitutes a serious violation of academic ethics.
If GenAI tools are used during manuscript preparation—including writing assistance, image or figure creation, data collection, or data analysis—authors must clearly disclose such use in the Methods or Acknowledgements section of the manuscript.
The disclosure should include the name of the tool, its version (if applicable), its functionality, and the specific role it played in the research or manuscript preparation.
